Yes. This is a core feature. The system links your published schedule with the actual, location-verified clock-in and clock-out times. Managers can view reports that clearly show planned hours versus actual hours worked, highlighting any discrepancies like late arrivals or overtime.
No. To protect employee privacy, our system does not feature a live map or track employee movements. Managers can see who is clocked in and at which designated work location, but they cannot see a live GPS dot on a map or view any movement history.
No. When you assign a shift to a location, the employee must be within that location's defined geofence to be able to clock in. If they are outside the approved area, the app will prevent them from starting their time entry, ensuring they are on-site as scheduled.
Managers with the correct permissions can manually adjust timesheet entries. For example, if a staff member was approved to start early, the manager can amend the clock-in time. Every manual edit is recorded in a full audit trail, showing who made the change, when, and for what reason.
Data retention is configurable based on your company's policy and UK legal requirements (e.g., HMRC record-keeping rules). Your account administrator can set policies to archive or delete data after a specified period, ensuring you stay compliant with UK GDPR.
