No. This is a crucial privacy feature. The app performs a location check only at the moment an employee actively presses the 'Clock In' or 'Clock Out' button. It does not track their movements around the site during their shift, on breaks, or outside of working hours.
No. Managers cannot see a live map or track worker movements. They can see a list of who is currently 'Clocked In' and at which site, but they cannot see live GPS locations on a map. The system is for attendance verification, not surveillance.
The system uses geofencing. You define a virtual perimeter around each work site. When an employee clocks in via the mobile app, it checks if their device's GPS location is inside this approved boundary. If they are outside, the clock-in is blocked. It provides simple, effective proof of on-site presence.
